Nothing is stamped on your code here, on any plan, including the free one. No logo in the centre, no strip along the bottom, no faint mark in the corner. Enter a URL below and download a clean PNG or SVG, with no account.
The generator runs in your browser. Make a QR code.
If you have a file from somewhere else and you are not sure whether it is marked, you can check without any special software. It is worth doing before the file goes into a layout, because the mark is usually noticed at the proofing stage.
Open an SVG in a text editor.
An SVG is plain text. Search it for "text", "logo", "brand", or the generator's own name. A watermark is usually a text element or an extra group sitting on top of the path data.
View a PNG at full size on a dark background.
Low-opacity marks in a corner are invisible against white and obvious against grey. Drop the file onto a dark slide and look at all four corners and the centre.
Check the centre logo is yours.
Some generators place their own mark in the middle of the pattern where a logo normally goes. It reads as a design choice until you notice it is not your logo.
Read the metadata.
A visible mark is often accompanied by an invisible one in the file's metadata. It does not affect printing, but it tells you what kind of file you are holding.
The instinct is to trim the strip off the bottom or paint over the corner. That usually breaks the code rather than cleaning it.
The QR specification requires a clear margin four modules wide on every side, the quiet zone. A watermark is very often placed inside that margin, so cropping it away takes the quiet zone with it. The result scans on your monitor, where the browser supplies white space around the image, and fails on the printed piece where it does not.
Painting over a mark that sits on the pattern itself is worse. Error correction can reconstruct a damaged code up to a point, so a small patch may still scan, and it will do so with less tolerance left for the print, the lighting and the angle. It will work on your desk and fail on the wall.
The only clean fix is to generate the code again from the original destination. That takes a few seconds, and you can do it above.
Use it without an account
Static QR codes need no email, no signup and no account of any kind.
Free PNG and SVG download
Both formats, full resolution, no account. Vector export is the thing most generators put behind a signup.
No watermark, ever
Nothing is stamped on your code on any plan, including the free one.
Static codes never expire
A static code has the URL encoded directly in it. It cannot be switched off later, by us or anyone else.
Your URL never reaches our servers
Static codes are generated entirely in your browser. We could not log what you encode if we wanted to.
Dynamic codes are the only paid part
Trackable, editable codes run through our servers, so they need an account. Free covers 5 codes and 500 scans a month; paid starts at $3.
Static, because a clean file you own outright is the entire point of this page, and a dynamic code adds a dependency you did not come here for.
A static QR code has the URL encoded directly in the pattern. It works forever and offline, but the destination can never be changed. A dynamic QR code is a short link that redirects, so you can edit the destination and count scans after the code is printed. Static codes are free here with no account. Dynamic codes need a free account (5 codes and 500 scans a month), and paid plans start at $3/month.
Make a QR code with no signup, no email and no account. Download PNG or SVG free, with no watermark. Static codes never even leave your browser.
Download a free SVG QR code with no account and no watermark. Vector output stays sharp at any size, from a business card to a trade show banner.
Make a QR code that never expires, free and with no account. A static code has the destination encoded in the pattern, so it cannot be switched off.
Make a QR code with no tracking and no account. Static codes are built in your browser, contain no redirect, and record nothing when scanned.
